In the name of leadership, team work and a bit of fun, the Peters Bosel Lawyers ‘Working Class Clowns’ hit the CBD for the Cairns Young Chamber’s Cre8 Skills Challenge on Wednesday 29th October.

The team comprised Amanda Langtree and Lisa Mannering (Peters Bosel Lawyers), Benjamin Schierhuber (Foremans Business Advisors), Victoria Cuda (Kleinhardt), Andrew Whitehead (GHD) and Stacey Callaghan (Australian Customs and Border Protection Service).

A total of eleven teams competed in the challenge, which started and ended at that well known Cairns watering hole, The Jack. Modelled on the TV show ‘Amazing Race’, the teams were required to run to six checkpoints throughout the Cairns CBD and complete different challenges at each stop.

The challenges included memory games, identifying the ingredients in food by taste, determining spices from their smell, speed shopping for a list of pharmacy products, throwing water bombs at targets, completing a speed workout at the gym and befriending the fauna at the Cairns Wildlife Dome.

The Working Class Clowns had a podium finish, being placed third overall. More importantly, they won the prize for ‘Best Dressed Team’.
